When Amanda was 5 years old, she was watching Saturday morning kid's TV and exclaimed to her father 'I want to do that'. 'Be on television?' he asked - for it was a reasonable question. 'No - I want to make it'.
We're now almost two decades into Amanda's TV career, where she has worked across a broad spectrum of programmes for all the major broadcasters, highlights include, of course, Producing Saturday morning kids TV & winning a BAFTA for The Great British Bake Off. Amanda is currently Series Editing 'Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year' for Storyvault Films.
When James was 5 years old, he wanted to be a racing driver. Or a librarian. Not much has changed really. After many years trying to make it as a musician, running wine bars and being a dry-slope ski instructor, James sort of ended up doing work experience at the BBC.
After nearly a decade at the beeb - starting as a runner and leaving as a producer, having directed over 200 short films - James went freelance in 2006. Continuing to work in TV, but also working for various agencies making high-end corporate & commercial films for global blue-chips.
As you do.
If we've learnt anything in our careers it's that message is key. We pride ourselves on clarifying and refining the message, making sure it's true to the subject and clearly focused on the audience. This works whether you are making a TV show for 9 million viewers, or an internal communication for a team of ten. We also believe passionately that the environment in which we work should be a harmonious and pleasant one - dare we say fun? Trust us - we have worked with many companies where this isn't the case.
